What gets flagged:
  • Recurring P2P income from the same person — aggregated totals, Schedule I disclosure note
  • Account closures & unexplained cash openings — accounts drained to $0, new accounts opened with cash
  • Payments to individuals and possible insider transfers (§ 547 / § 548)
  • Potential preference payments to creditors before filing
  • Unusual or unexplained deposits (cash, Zelle, settlements, bonuses, business income)
  • Cash withdrawals of $500 or more, especially near filing date
  • Large transfers of $1,000 or more
  • Business activity suggesting unreported income or assets
  • Vacation spending — clustered out-of-town purchases grouped as trips with estimated cost
  • CrossFit / personal training $200+/month flagged for Schedule J
  • Professional beauty supply (Cosmoprof, Saloncentric) — suggests possible side income
  • Spending inconsistent with Schedule J (gambling, travel, luxury)
  • Payments suggesting undisclosed assets (storage, boats, crypto, insurance)
  • Rent to property management (AppFolio, Am Realty) noted for Schedule J
  • Account numbers and platforms suggesting undisclosed accounts
